The AI for Government program is a 2-week self-paced learning program designed to provide government employees and leaders with relevant training on artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in the public sector.
Through a combination of self-paced learning and live tech talks, this program aims to enhance participants' understanding of AI technologies and their potential to improve public services and governance.
The program is open to all government employees, public sector leaders, and other government professionals involved in public administration and policy-making.
The key objectives include:
- Educating participants on the fundamentals of AI.
- Demonstrating practical applications of AI in the public sector.
- Enhancing decision-making and policy formulation through AI insights.
- Promoting ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
- Supporting leaders in understanding how to unleash the maximum value of Artificial Intelligence to transform their teams and drive their agencies' success
The program spans across two weeks, starting from 10 June 2025 to 19 June 2025. Each new day of learning could be completed under 60 minutes, allowing for flexibility and ensuring that participants can easily integrate the training into their workday.
This program is fully complimentary and organised in partnership with Microsoft for interested registrants.
There are no learning prerequisites for joining this program.Participants can expect to develop AI literacy through the training provided during the program itself.
Yes, participants could pursue all asynchronous learning and attend the live tech talks remotely.
The training covers AI Foundations, AI for Creativity, AI for Productivity, Responsible AI, AI Strategy, and AI Transformation. Participants can choose topics based on their roles, whether they are employees or leaders. This allows them to focus on areas most relevant to their professional needs.
Enrollment can be done through starting the learning plans provided. You will require a Microsoft Learn account to start the various learning plans, and you are encouraged to use your personal email to create a Microsoft Learn account if you haven't already done so. You could link your work email to your Microsoft Learn account thereafter.

AI for Everyone pathways are encouraged for all government officials, and the AI for Leaders pathways are for leaders in government. Depending on your persona, click into the AI for Everyone or AI for Leaders landing page and begin your learning by clicking into the individual learning paths.
To attend the live events, participants can click on the Teams link provided at the time of delivery. Additionally, they can download the iCal links to ensure the sessions are added to their calendars for easy access and reminders.
If you miss a live session, or are unable to make the live sessions, links to the recordings will be available on the AI for Everyone and AI for Leaders pages for you to catch up on the learning at your convenience.
Upon completing individual learning paths, participants could receive Akkodis Academy learning badges.
Particularly for the AI for Creativity and AI for Productivity learning paths, participants could also claim Microsoft Learn trophies and certificate by way of the badge redemption links.
